Zlin Savage Bobber 2.45m Digital Construction Plan incl. DXF Data
Zlin Savage Bobber 2.45m Digital blueprint including DXF, DWG, AI, PDF and STL data.
The components can be laser-cut or milled directly. The construction plan is drawn at a 1:1 scale and can therefore be printed. The landing gear consists of 3D-printed parts made of PETG. The STL files are also included. 69 construction photos assist with assembly. The design data is also provided.
The tubular fuselage is constructed from 8x7mm carbon fiber tubes. These are joined at the joints using carbon fiber rovings, resulting in a very lightweight and strong structure. The wings and tail surfaces are conventionally built from poplar plywood and balsa wood. The engine mount is adapted to the Toni Clark Piper Cub J3 fiberglass cowling.
As expected from a model of this type, the flight characteristics are very docile. Even at low speeds, the model is completely forgiving. A short runway of just a few meters is sufficient for takeoff. With its large 150mm Kavan wheels, takeoffs and landings are also possible on rough terrain. Of course, the Savage Bobber isn't just for scale flying; it can also perform all imaginable classic aerobatic maneuvers: inverted flight, rolls, turns, and so on.
