Zlin Savage Bobber 2.45m Milling & Laser Parts Kit
The kit consists of 16 laser-cut pieces of 4mm poplar plywood, each 575mm x 190mm, for the fuselage and wings. It also includes one 8mm balsa sheet, 990mm x 290mm, for the tail surfaces. Carbon fiber tubes, skinning material, etc., are not included.

Note: The parts kit is manufactured exclusively to order and may take up to 2 weeks depending on the order volume.
The digital building plan is also required for construction. This plan contains all the files needed to print the building plan, as well as the STL files for the landing gear. If you are unable to print the building plan yourself, I also offer it in my shop.
A few details about the construction:
The tubular fuselage is constructed from 8x7mm carbon fiber tubes. These are joined at the joints using carbon fiber rovings, resulting in a very lightweight and strong structure. The wings and tail surfaces are conventionally built from poplar plywood and balsa wood. The engine mount is adapted to the Toni Clark Piper Cub J3 fiberglass cowling.
As expected from a model of this type, the flight characteristics are very docile. Even at low speeds, the model is completely forgiving. A short runway of just a few meters is sufficient for takeoff. With its large 150mm Kavan wheels, takeoffs and landings are also possible on rough terrain. Of course, the Savage Bobber isn't just for scale flying; it can also perform all imaginable classic aerobatic maneuvers: inverted flight, rolls, turns, and so on.
